My day for walking on the wild side: First I caught a squirrel a-frolicking (I've seen plenty but this is the first one who'd hold still long enough to be photographed):
Then, what I'm 99% sure is a pheasant wandered past:

All without even crossing city limits. Wow.
First time this year I've dared hang it outside.
Now I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it doesn't start to rain...
The privet is starting to sprout new leaves. Not exactly green yet, but they'll get there.
Told you.
That snow we had yesterday... not only wasn't it enough... it's also gone again :-(
Well, I finally got my wish: This morning, 7AM, took this picture. Real, non-fake-style, genuine SNOW!
Now I'm gonna complain that there ain't enough of the stuff.

Funny name, heartsease. Also, it seems, known as pansy. I caught this particular pair in front of the library.
Just to make it funnier: the Danish name for these flowers translates literally to 'step-mother-flower'. No idea where that came from. Or if she's a wicked stepmother.
