Frenzied?

Well, I hit 100 pages about half an hour ago. Note the page count in the lower left-hand corner of the screen.
So now I can in (relatively) good conscience eat that chocolate.

Good Neighbour

One of my neighbours asked if I could help her out. Turned out the 'help' she wanted was to dispose of a rather incriminating stick of chocolate mints.
What can I say? I'm a helpful sort of person ;-)

And yes, I know that to you people on the other side of the Pond it's Super Tuesday, but since I'm not a US citizen and can't affect the Presidential elections at any level - I'm just one of the little people who has to live with the outcome :-) -I'll just munch down my pancakes and leave the politics to you.

Pot Luck

Like most people, I like getting something for nothing. So I participate in a lot of competitions. And yesterday I got a surprise by parcel post: I'd won a comp that a frozen food company ran last autumn! A lovely-lovely (read: almost-too-cutesy) heart-shaped cast-iron casserole pot...


... and four matching ramekins (and yes, that is a lovely word, Jen O)...


... so I'm celebrating my luck by cooking a nice goulash-style casserole dish. I love casseroles.
